If you’d like to make to contact, whether it’s to correct me on something, disagree with a review, leave feedback on the site or even just to say ‘hi’ I’d love to hear from you!
If you’re a band/record label/PR agency and want me to review something I’d also be happy to hear from you. If possible I prefer physical copies over mp3s. This is mainly because mp3s and links are such a hassle. Yeah, I know that for a band/PR it’s easier and cheaper to send out email links and mp3s, but as a blogger CDs or CDRs are preferable because they’re good to go. If you send an mp3 or link it means I have to download it and either burn it to disk or copy it to an mp3 player before I can listen to it. This inevitably means that as I’m rushing out to my car in the morning and I grab some music to listen to for review, it’s the CDs that get priority! This might sound lazy, but I have a day job too, so time is precious!
Before you send anything though, please take the time to see what other bands I’ve covered or read the about page to get an idea of the kind of music I’m interested in, if you want to send me something email me and I’ll send my address over.
I generally try to upload reviews approximately 2 weeks before the release date but please bear in mind I get a considerable amount of stuff sent to me so I can’t guarantee to review eveything I recieve or to give what you send a good review.
