MP3: Light FM feat Eddie Argos – Arthur Theme (Christopher Cross cover)
While we’re all keenly waiting for ‘Brilliant! Tragic!’ the new album from indie gods Art Brut, we have an unusual collaboration from Eddie Argos and California’s Light FM for you. Back in 1981 Christopher Cross wrote and recorded ‘Arthur’s Theme’. The song was the theme tune for the hit movie starring Dudley Moore as a rich, alcoholic playboy which featured Liza Minelli as his leading lady. The film is being remade with Russell Brand as Arthur and Jennifer Garner taking on Liza Minelli’s role, but sadly this superior version of Arthur’s Theme from Light FM featuring Eddie Argos on vocals is destined to remain ‘unofficial’.
