Fad Gadget was the alter ego of art student Frank Tovey. An influential musician, combining New Wave and Industrial with synths, in 1979 after sending a demo tape of ‘Back To Nature’ to Mute boss Daniel Miller, Tovey became the first artist to be signed to Mute records. Read more…
