News: Future of the Left announce headline tour and festival appearances

As their current single, ‘sheena is a t-shirt salesman’, continues to enjoy radio play across the airwaves – including Radio 1’s Daniel P Carter, Huw Stephens as well as XFM, 6Music and Kerrang! Radio – Future of the Left have announced details of a headline tour in June covering the UK and parts of Europe as well as summer festival appearances:

The shows coincide with the release of the band’s hotly anticipated album ‘the plot against common sense’, which is to be released on 11th June in the UK and Europe and 12th June in the USA, check back for a review nearer the time!!

News: Future Of The Left sign to Xtra Mile and announce EP

future of the leftWelsh alt rockers Future Of The have signed to Xtra Mile Recordings. Their first EP for the label, titled ‘Polymers are Forever’ will be released on 14th November on Xtra Mile with an initial small amount of imports being shoveled the way of the USA to be released on Xtra Mile US.


The EP is has a running time of around 20 minutes and features the following:

New adventures
My wife is unhappy

The first threesongs are taken from the album sessions whilst the final three are earlier demos. ‘Polymers areforever’ will also appear on the album ‘the plotagainst common sense’, which will be released in early 2012.
