Gig Review: Guards @ The Lexington 16/02/2011

Guards Live at the LexingtonTonight seems to have been a long time coming; it was ages ago that I secured my ticket for this show and I’ve been listening to the Guards EP frequently in anticipation. Before they take the stage though there are two other bands that I’m never heard of before so we grab a beer downstairs (no draught beers upstairs which is a constant irritation of The Lexington) and make our way up to catch first act, the bizarrely monickered History of Apple Pie.
