Punk Rock Ist Nicht Tot

Nick Cave and Neko Case have been in the studio together to record a song for the latest season of True Blood. Apparently the original plan was to use Santana’s cover of the classic Zombies song ‘She’s Not There’, but the show’s music supervisor Gary Calamar overode that request in favour of a Cave/Case version. The track will feature in the closing credits for the opening show of True Blood season 4, also called ‘She’s Not There’ which airs in the US on June 26th.

Grinderman release their new nine-track studio album through Mute on 13th September 2010. Entitled Grinderman 2, the album was recorded at London’s State of The Ark and Assault and Battery studios, and co-produced by Grinderman and Nick Launay.
