Gig Review: Hop Farm Festival – Sunday

Hop_Farm_FestivalThe last day of the festival and the pickings are a little thin today. Obviously Prince is the one to watch, but other than that there isn’t much to get me excited. It’s a hot sunny day though so we made our way to the Hop Farm with enough time to catch a few smaller bands. When we got there Imelda May was on the main stage but I’m not a fan so we headed to the smaller tent to catch Young Rebel Set. I’d not heard of them before and though it took me a little while to get into them by the time they finished I was converted to their brand of folk rock, a more rough and ready Mumford and Sons. News: Prince to headline Kent’s Hop Farm Festival

princeIn something of a coup for Vince Power, Prince is to headline a third day at Kent’s Hop Farm Festival. In what will be Prince’s first UK show in four years the diminutive artist, who spent years known as ‘symbol’, will headline the Sunday, a hastily added extra date at this years festival.
