Single Review: Spector – What You Wanted

SPECTOR

Hot on the heels of their debut single ‘Never Fade Away’, London based five piece Spector are back with their next assault on the pop charts. Fronted by ex Les Incompetents singer Fred MacPherson, the guys deliver another slice of three minute pop perfection in the form of ‘What You Wanted’, a splendid mix of electronic pop and fifties pop. Somewhere in vicinity of a chilled out Vaccines fronted by Brandon Flowers, close your eyes and you can almost imagine them decked out in gold suits sporting big quiffs held in place by copious amounts of Brylcreem.
